After dropping down from the World Rally Championship to the second-tier WRC-2 level, the 27 year-old enjoyed an unforgettable season in his M-Sport Fiesta R5, as he finished third overall in the drivers' championship, which included victories in Monte Carlo, Sweden and France.

He was also crowned British Rally Champion, 20 years since his father Gwyndaf Evans, won the same title.

In the hour-long special edition of S4C's Ralïo+ series, we will see highlights from Elfyn's races throughout the season, both on the world and British circuit, and get an insight into his daily life.

There will also be exclusive interviews with Elfyn, as he reviews the past year and speaks about his hopes for 2017.

Ralïo+ producer, Emyr Penlan said: "We've followed Elfyn throughout his career and this year was another good season for him. He's again proved himself on the WRC-2 and British circuits and the hope for him is that he can one day return to the elite World Rally Championship."
